Take 6-8 raw bananas and trim the top and bottom ends.
Add salt and turmeric powder to the bananas. mix well to coat them evenly.
Place the bananas in a pressure cooker. cook until tender. once the pressure cooker has cooled down, open it and transfer the bananas to a bowl. set them aside.
Take 4 of the cooked bananas and peel them. cut them into slices and keep them aside.
Heat oil in a pan. add asafoetida and cumin seeds. saute for 1 minute or until the cumin seeds turn brown.
