In a bowl, combine paneer cubes, tapioca starch, red chilli powder, black pepper powder, salt, and soy sauce. mix well to coat the paneer cubes.
Heat 6 to 7 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan or kadai. once the oil is hot, add the coated paneer cubes.
Fry the paneer cubes until they turn light golden on one side, then flip them over and continue frying until both sides are light golden. be careful not to overcook the paneer to avoid making it hard.
Remove the fried paneer cubes from the pan and place them on kitchen paper towels to absorb excess oil.
In a small bowl, mix 1 tablespoon of tapioca starch with 2 tablespoons of water until well combined.
