The first step is to heat the oil for deep frying in a wide, deep frying pan over medium heat.
Add a handful of corn flakes at a time and deep fry them until they turn golden, crisp, and puffed up. this process only takes a few seconds.
Once fried, drain the corn flakes on kitchen paper towels and set them aside.
In the same hot oil, place the poha in a steel colander and deep fry it until it puffs up. remove the poha from the oil once it's puffed and drain it on paper towels.
