To prepare the spicy kala chana delight, heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. add the mustard seeds and let them splutter.
Once the mustard seeds crackle, add finely chopped ginger, green chilies, asafoetida, and a pinch of salt to the pan. stir well.
Add the cooked kala chana (black chickpeas) to the pan and stir-fry for a few minutes until all the ingredients are well combined.
Turn off the heat and add grated fresh coconut and freshly chopped coriander leaves to the mixture. give it a final stir.
Serve the spicy kala chana delight hot as a healthy tea-time snack for your family or on special occasions like gollu (navratri).
