To begin preparing the spicy kerala chicken delight, wash and clean the chicken pieces.
In a mixing bowl, marinate the cleaned chicken with turmeric powder, kashmiri chili powder, lime juice, and salt to taste. allow the chicken to marinate in the refrigerator for half an hour to tenderize.
Shallow fry the marinated chicken pieces in a heavy-bottomed pan on medium heat until they turn golden brown on both sides and are almost cooked through.
Remove the fried chicken pieces from the pan and set them aside.
In the same pan, heat coconut oil over medium heat and add the sliced onions with a pinch of salt. cook until the onions turn golden brown.
