How To Cook?

To prepare the spicy roasted chickpeas delight, first, if using canned chickpeas, drain and rinse them. if using raw chickpeas, cook them in a pressure cooker with salt and water for 3 whistles until they become soft. drain and set aside.

Heat olive oil in a pan or wok, then add cumin seeds.

Once the cumin seeds crackle, add grated ginger and saute for a few seconds.

Add chickpea flour (besan) and saute for a minute to remove the raw taste.

Add kashmiri red chilli powder, ground cumin, amchur powder, ground turmeric, ground coriander, and salt. mix well and saute for another minute to roast the spices.
