To prepare the gujarati peas and potato flatbread (vatana bateta na rotla), take a mixing bowl and add rice flour along with 1 tablespoon of oil. rub the oil into the flour to create a coarse crumb-like mixture.
Grate the brown potatoes and add them to the flour mixture. also, add grated fresh coconut, chopped green chilies, minced ginger, chopped coriander leaves, lemon juice, white sesame seeds, sugar, salt, turmeric powder, and asafoetida.
Combine all the ingredients well and check the seasoning to adjust the salt as per your taste.
Coarsely grind the fresh peas and gently mix them into the mixture.
Place a flat non-stick skillet pan on medium heat and add 1 or 2 tablespoons of oil.
