How To Cook?

To prepare peas and rice pilaf, start by washing the basmati rice and soaking it in enough water for 1 hour before cooking.

After soaking, drain the water and set the rice aside.

Soak the peas in a cup of water to help them cook faster and retain their plumpness.

In a pressure cooker, heat ghee and add cloves, cinnamon, black pepper, green cardamom, and red chilli. saute for 2 minutes on low flame.

Add the sliced onions and ginger, and saute on low flame for 2-3 minutes until they begin to brown.
