To prepare the radish dal curry (moolangi tovve), start by washing the yellow moong dal thoroughly.
In a pressure cooker, combine the washed moong dal with the sliced radish, turmeric powder, green chillies, and 1-1/2 cups of water.
Close the pressure cooker lid and cook the mixture for 3 whistles on medium heat.
Allow the pressure to release naturally.
Once the pressure has subsided, open the cooker and take out the cooked lentils and radish.
