To begin making the creamy dal samosa curry, we need to prepare the gravy first.
Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a heavy-bottomed pan over medium heat.
Add cardamom, black pepper, cloves, cinnamon, mace, and bay leaves. saute them for a few seconds.
Next, add cashew nuts, green chilli, ginger, chopped onion, and tomatoes. mix well.
Add 1/2 cup of water and salt to taste. cover the pan and cook until the onions and tomatoes become soft.
