How To Cook?

1

To begin making the mixed moong dal curry, soak the green moong dal in water for at least 2 hours.

2

Pressure cook the soaked green moong dal with water until it is just cooked (approximately 4 whistles).

3

Once the pressure has released naturally, remove the green moong dal from the cooker and add the yellow moong dal.

4

To the yellow moong dal, add water and turmeric powder, then pressure cook for 4 whistles as well.

5

Allow the pressure to release naturally, and then mash the yellow moong dal into a smooth paste.
