Boil the potatoes until they are tender. once boiled, peel and roughly mash them.
In a pan, heat oil. add cumin seeds and coriander seeds. saute until they release their aroma.
Add finely chopped onion, garlic, ginger, and green chili. saute until the onions turn translucent.
Add green peas and cook for a few minutes until they are slightly tender.
Stir in garam masala and salt. mix well.
