To prepare the andhra style rice rava and moong dal pudding, you can start by making the rice rava at home.

Rinse normal rice with water and dry it under the sun or outside for about 20 minutes until it becomes dry. grind the rice coarsely to make rice rava.

Heat a kadai or pan with oil. add mustard seeds and urad dal, and let them splutter for 10 seconds. then add curry leaves and let them crackle.

Next, add dry red chillies and asafoetida. fry for another 10 seconds.

Add chopped onions and ginger. stir until the onions become translucent.
