How To Cook?

Rinse the moong dal and masoor dal under cold running water until the water runs clear. soak them in water for about 15-20 minutes.

Meanwhile, wash the spinach (palak) leaves thoroughly to remove any dirt or impurities. drain the water and chop the spinach finely.

Peel and finely chop the carrots. slit the green chillies lengthwise.

In a pressure cooker, add the soaked moong dal and masoor dal along with 2 cups of water. also, add the chopped spinach and carrot pieces.

Add turmeric powder and salt to the dal mixture. close the pressure cooker with its lid and cook for 3-4 whistles or until the dals and vegetables are cooked and soft.
