To prepare green moong dal and rice khichdi, start by washing the green moong dal and rice together under running water until the water runs clear. drain and set them aside.
In a pressure cooker, heat a small amount of sunflower oil for tempering.
Add finely chopped ginger to the hot oil and sautËúÖ for a minute until it becomes aromatic.
Add the washed green moong dal and rice to the cooker.
Pour in the required amount of water (usually double the quantity of rice and dal) and add salt according to your taste.
