Coarsely grind the torn parathas.
Heat oil in a non-stick pan. add mustard seeds and let them splutter. then, add cumin seeds, asafoetida, and curry leaves. mix well.
Add chopped onion and Saute on medium heat until golden. add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, and salt. mix well.
Add the ground parathas and mix thoroughly. add coriander leaves and continue mixing. add some water, mix well, cover the pan, and cook on low heat for 4-5 minutes.
Serve the tadka paratha hot.
