Prepare the base: begin by making the lachha paratha, which will serve as the base of the royal stuffed paratha.
Lachha paratha: mix together wheat flour, refined wheat flour, salt, and oil. slowly add water to knead the dough into a smooth consistency. cover the dough and set it aside for 15-20 minutes.
Divide and roll: divide the dough into 4 equal portions and shape them into balls. roll each ball into a 6 to 7 inches diameter disc on a floured surface.
Pleat and fold: apply oil liberally on the paratha disc and start folding and pleating it from the edges. roll the pleated edges tightly and join the edges to form a round paratha of about 4 to 5 inches in diameter.
Cook the parathas: heat a tawa (griddle) over medium heat. cook the parathas from both sides by brushing them with oil. flip and cook until they turn brown and slightly crisp. repeat for all the parathas.
