How To Cook?

Wash the basmati rice and soak it in water for about 30 minutes. drain the water and keep the soaked rice aside.

In a large pot, bring water to a boil, add a pinch of salt and the soaked rice. cook the rice until it is 70% cooked. drain the excess water and set the rice aside.

In a pan, heat sunflower oil and add bay leaves, cloves, and black peppercorns. saute them until they release their aroma.

Add finely chopped onions, minced garlic, and grated ginger to the pan. saute until the onions turn translucent.

Now, add diced carrots and yellow capsicum to the pan. cook them for a few minutes until they become slightly tender.
