In a bowl, combine coriander leaves, chopped onion, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, garam masala, grated fresh coconut, cleaned prawns, all-purpose flour, chickpea flour, and a little water. mix well to form a moist mixture. ensure that the mixture is not too dry.
Divide the mixture into equal small portions. take each portion and shape it into round flat cutlets using your palms, similar to tikkis. repeat the same for all the portions.
Heat oil in a pan and pan-fry the prawn cutlets on low heat until they turn golden brown on both sides. this process may take approximately 12-15 minutes. ensure that the cutlets are cooked thoroughly and the prawns are no longer raw.
