To begin making the spiced colocasia curry, first cut the boiled colocasia into round slices and keep them aside.
Heat 2 tablespoons of cooking oil in a wok or kadhai.
Add the mustard seeds and asafoetida into the hot oil and allow them to crackle.
Once the mustard seeds crackle, add the ginger garlic paste and green chillies. saute for 2 to 3 minutes.
Next, add the finely chopped onion and cook until it becomes soft and translucent.
