To begin making the spiced cluster beans curry, heat mustard oil in a pressure cooker.
Add carom seeds and asafoetida. saute for a few seconds until fragrant.
Add finely chopped onion, garlic, and ginger. saute until the onions turn golden brown and aromatic.
Add the tomatoes along with turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and jaggery. mix well and cook until the tomatoes become soft and mushy.
Now, add the cluster beans and peanuts to the cooker. season with salt to taste. pour water into the cooker.
