To prepare the tangy tomato curry leaf chutney, heat oil in a pan.
Add curry leaves and green chilies to the pan. cook until the green chilies become soft.
Now, add the tomatoes, turmeric powder, fresh coriander leaves, salt, and sugar to the pan. cook until the tomatoes become very soft. this will take around 15 minutes.
Once the mixture is cooked, turn off the heat and let it cool down.
Transfer the cooked mixture to a blender and grind it into a smooth chutney.
