To prepare the spinach and lentil fritters, begin by washing and soaking the yellow moong split for 2 hours. after soaking, grind it to a semi-coarse paste using a mixer grinder.
Transfer the ground moong dal paste to a mixing bowl.
Vigorously whisk the moong dal paste for a few minutes to incorporate air into the mixture, making the batter slightly lighter.
Finely chop the spinach, onion, and green chilli. add them to the batter.
Introduce the flavor-enhancing spices - carom seeds, coriander seeds, red chilli powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, cumin powder, and season with salt. mix well to combine all the ingredients.
