How To Cook?

Start by peeling and cubing the potatoes. keep them immersed in salted water to prevent discoloration.

Heat a deep-bottomed pan with mustard oil over high heat until it starts to smoke. reduce the flame.

Add cumin seeds, bay leaf, fenugreek seeds, and asafoetida to the hot oil and let them sizzle.

Drain the water from the potatoes and add them to the pan along with the green chilli, salt, and turmeric powder. mix well.

Cover the pan and cook the potatoes until they are almost done. this will take about 12-15 minutes on medium-high heat.
