To prepare the spiced paneer & potato curry, grind roasted cumin seeds and grated ginger in a mortar and pestle to make a paste.
Mix red chilli powder and turmeric powder with a tablespoon of water to form a paste. set it aside.
In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat oil. add cubed potatoes and fry them until the edges turn brown. set them aside.
In the same pan, add the paneer cubes and fry them until golden. set them aside.
Add bay leaves and dry red chillies to the same pan.
