To begin making the kashmiri style paneer masala, prepare a bowl with 500 ml of warm water.
Heat a little oil in a frying pan and shallow fry the paneer cubes in batches until they turn golden brown.
Use medium heat to avoid the paneer from breaking or splattering. place the fried paneer cubes on a kitchen towel and transfer them to the bowl of warm water.
Let the paneer soak in the water while we prepare the curry.
