To start preparing the kerala style black eyed beans and pumpkin curry, soak the black-eyed beans for an hour. after an hour, add the beans to a pressure cooker with half a cup of water and pressure cook for 3 to 5 whistles.
Allow the pressure to release naturally.
Grind the coconut, cumin seeds, and green chillies together with a little water to create a coarse paste. set this paste aside.
In a cooking wok, add the pumpkin pieces, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and salt. sprinkle some water and cook over medium heat until the pumpkin is nearly cooked.
Incorporate the ground coconut masala and the boiled black-eyed beans into the pumpkin mixture. stir and mix all the ingredients thoroughly.
