To prepare karnataka style sorakkai curry, begin by heating cooking oil in a pressure cooker.
Add cumin seeds and curry leaves to the hot oil and saut„© for about 10 seconds, allowing them to release their flavors.
Now, introduce the ripe tomatoes and a pinch of salt to the cooker. cook until the tomatoes turn soft and pulpy.
Once the tomatoes have softened, add turmeric powder, red chili powder, sambar powder, and the diced bottle gourd (sorakkai). mix the ingredients thoroughly to ensure even coating.
After approximately 2 minutes, pour in 1/2 cup of water. close the pressure cooker with its lid and cook until three whistles are heard.
