To prepare the karnataka style pressure cooked bottle gourd curry, heat oil in the pressure cooker and add the cumin seeds along with curry leaves.

Allow the curry leaves to splutter for a few seconds.

Now, add the chopped tomato and saute it with a pinch of salt until it becomes soft and mushy.

At this stage, add the turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and sambar powder, and also mix in the chopped bottle gourd.
