Wash the toor dal and soak it while you prepare the vegetables.
Wash and cut the mixed vegetables into desired pieces.
In a pressure cooker, add soaked toor dal, mixed vegetables, and peanuts. pressure cook until the cooker releases 3-4 whistles.
While the pressure cooker cools down, prepare the masala paste.
Dry roast urad dal, chana dal, cinnamon, and red chillies separately until they turn light golden in color.
