Cut the bottle gourd into 2 or 3 parts and grate it using a fine or thick grater, excluding the middle part and seeds.
Repeat the grating process for the remaining bottle gourd until you have enough for making the halwa.
Heat a pan on medium flame and add ghee, allowing it to melt.
