Preheat the sunflower oil in a kadai, getting it ready for deep frying.

Once the oil reaches the appropriate temperature, add about 1 tablespoon of hot oil to the flour mixture and mix it thoroughly.

The mixture should take on the texture of breadcrumbs, evenly coated with the oil.

Gradually add a small amount of water to the mixture and thoroughly combine it until it forms a firm ball of dough. the consistency should be similar to that of chapati dough.
