To start preparing the kerala spiced taro delight, thoroughly wash and scrub the taro roots. you can soak them in water for 20-30 minutes to remove dirt more easily.
Apply some coconut or any other oil to your hands and peel the taro roots. be sure to remove the green layer under the skin as well.
Cut the taro roots into bite-sized pieces.
In a saucepan or kadai, add the taro root pieces, tamarind pulp, salt, and some water.
Cook the taro roots on low flame until they are well cooked.
