Marination time: allow the chicken to marinate for about 30 minutes in the refrigerator. this time allows the flavors to infuse and the spices to permeate the chicken.
Heating the oil: heat sunflower oil in a shallow frying pan. make sure the oil is heated over medium heat.
Frying the chicken: once the oil is hot, place the marinated chicken pieces in the pan. make sure not to overcrowd the pan; there should be some space between the pieces for even frying.
