In a bowl, combine yogurt, lime juice, garlic paste, garam masala, cumin powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt to prepare a thick marinade.
Cut the paneer into small cubes and add them to the marinade. mix well to ensure all the cubes are coated. allow them to marinate for 10 minutes.
Heat vegetable oil in a non-stick pan over medium-low heat. add finely chopped garlic and green chilies to the pan. cover the pan with a lid and let the oil infuse with the flavors of garlic and chilies.
After a few minutes, add the marinated paneer cubes to the pan one by one. cover with the lid and cook on low-medium heat. this gentle cooking process will give the paneer a perfect texture. flip and turn the paneer cubes to cook them evenly on all sides.
Once the paneer cubes turn golden brown and slightly crispy, remove them from the heat.
