To prepare spiced chickpea yogurt curry, start by soaking the black chickpeas (kala chana) in water overnight. drain and rinse them thoroughly.

Add gram flour (besan), turmeric powder (haldi), ground coriander powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt to the yogurt. mix well to create a smooth yogurt-spice mixture.
Heat a teaspoon of clarified butter (ghee) in a pan over medium heat.
