To create creamy yam yogurt curry, start by preparing all the necessary ingredients.
Peel the elephant yam and cut it into bite-sized pieces. rinse them thoroughly to remove any excess starch.
In a bowl, combine yogurt (curd) and chickpea flour (besan). whisk them together until you have a smooth paste. set this mixture aside.
In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat cooking oil over medium heat. add mustard seeds and fenugreek seeds. saut„© until the mustard seeds start to crackle.
Add the prepared yam pieces to the pan. cook them for a few minutes until they start to turn golden brown.
