Cut the broccoli into florets and wash them thoroughly.
Heat oil in a pan or skillet over medium heat.
Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. let them splutter and release their aroma.
Add the broccoli florets to the pan along with a pinch of salt. mix well to coat the broccoli with oil and spices. cover and cook until the broccoli is tender.
In a separate bowl, combine the chickpea flour (besan) with chilli powder, turmeric, and garam masala. mix well to form a spice mixture.
