Start by washing the brown rice thoroughly and soaking it in water for about 30 minutes. drain and set aside.
In a large, heavy-bottomed pan, heat the ghee over medium heat.
Add minced garlic, sliced green chilies, cloves, cardamom pods, cinnamon stick, and bay leaves. sautËúÖ for a minute or until they become aromatic.
Add the soaked and drained brown rice to the pan. stir well to coat the rice with the aromatic spices and ghee.
Add salt according to your taste.
