How To Cook?

Rinse the green moong dal thoroughly under running water and soak it in water for about 30 minutes.

In a pressure cooker, add the soaked moong dal, along with water (about 2 cups), a pinch of turmeric powder, and a few drops of oil.

Pressure cook the dal until it is soft and well-cooked. this may take about 2 whistles on medium heat.

While the dal is cooking, finely chop the onion, tomato, and green chilies.

In a separate pan, heat sunflower oil over medium heat. add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
