To begin making the fragrant herb pulao, heat ghee in a pressure cooker over medium flame. add star anise, fennel seeds, bay leaves, and cinnamon stick to the hot ghee.
Once these whole spices begin to sizzle, add the coriander and mint leaves, and give it a quick stir.
Finally, add the washed and drained flaked rice, 3 cups of water, and salt. close the pressure cooker.
Pressure cook the fragrant herb pulao for 2 to 3 whistles and then turn off the flame.
Allow the pressure to release naturally and then open the pressure cooker.
