Soak cashews in hot water for a few minutes, then grind them into a fine paste.
Puree the tomatoes and set aside. in a pan, heat oil and add the capsicum and onion. saute for 2 minutes, then set aside.
In the same pan, add crushed garlic and cumin seeds. let them crackle and saute for a minute. then, add the tomato puree.
Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, and garam masala. let it simmer on low heat until the raw smell disappears.
This process may take around 10-12 minutes. once the raw smell is gone and the mixture thickens, add salt and the cashew paste.
