To start preparing the green bean and lentil delight, first, cook the red lentils with approximately 1 cup of water in a pressure cooker. add 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder and season with salt as needed.
Pressure cook for around 4 whistles, then turn off the heat.
Allow the pressure to release naturally and set the cooked lentils aside.
Put the green beans in the pressure cooker, add a pinch of salt and 2 tablespoons of water. pressure cook for one whistle.
Once done, turn off the heat and promptly release the pressure to preserve the vibrant green color of the beans.
