Take 1/2 cup of the cooked chickpeas, drain excess water using a towel, and place them in a mixing bowl. add lemon juice, salt, red chili powder, and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. allow them to marinate for half an hour.

Preheat your oven to 150 degrees celsius. spread the marinated chickpeas on a baking tray and bake for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally for even baking. set aside.

In a pan, heat a teaspoon of olive oil. add cumin seeds and green chilies. saut„© until fragrant. remove from the pan and set aside.

In the same pan, add more olive oil and chopped tomatoes. cook until the tomatoes reduce and the water evaporates. let this mixture cool to room temperature.
