Begin by making a spicy paste. grind the bhut jolokia (ghost pepper) along with fried onions, ginger, and garlic into a smooth paste using a little water if needed.
In a large skillet or kadai, heat 2 tablespoons of ghee over medium heat. add the prepared bhut jolokia paste and saut„© it until the raw smell disappears, and the oil starts to separate.
Now, add the chicken pieces and saut„© them well, coating them evenly with the spicy paste. cook for a few minutes until the chicken starts to brown slightly.
Reduce the heat to low and add the turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and kashmiri red chilli powder to the chicken. mix well to coat the chicken evenly with the spices.
Pour in the tomato puree and season with salt. stir everything together, making sure the chicken is well-cooked and the flavors are well-blended.
