How To Cook?

Soak the masoor dal for 30 minutes. pressure cook it with a pinch of turmeric, chopped ginger, a few drops of ghee, and 1 cup of water for 4 whistles.

Once cooked, mash the dal and set it aside. gather all the required ingredients.

Heat a pan with ghee. add cumin seeds and a pinch of asafoetida. stir briefly.

Add chopped ginger and green chillies. stir well.

Add chopped tomatoes, red chilli powder, coriander seed powder, turmeric, and a little salt. cook until the tomatoes turn mushy.
