To prepare the creamy almond dal, first, pressure cook the soaked urad dal and soaked, peeled almonds with turmeric powder and a pinch of salt.

Pressure cook for at least 4 whistles until the dal and almonds are well-cooked and soft.

In a saucepan, heat ghee and add cumin seeds. allow them to splutter for a few seconds.

Add finely chopped onions and saut„© until they turn translucent.

Stir in the ripe tomatoes and sprinkle a little salt. cook until the tomatoes become mushy.
