To begin making the coconut-semolina fudge delight, in a large kadai or thick-bottomed deep pan, combine the semolina, grated coconut, milk, sugar, ghee, and saffron.
Allow the mixture to rest for 2 hours.
Grease a pan or tray with ghee and set it aside.
After the resting period, start cooking the semolina-coconut mixture over medium-high heat and bring it to a boil, stirring constantly.
Continue cooking, stirring, and scraping the sides of the pan continuously.
