To prepare the spicy coconut seer fish curry, begin by grinding the sliced onion, dried red chillies, garlic cloves, ginger, and green chilli into a coarse paste. set it aside.
Marinate the seer fish with lemon juice, turmeric powder, and salt. allow it to marinate for 15 minutes.
Heat a flat skillet with coconut oil and add curry leaves. let them crackle for a few seconds.
Add the ground onion paste to the skillet and stir until the raw smell disappears. make sure to cook on low flame to avoid burning the onions.
Mix in the turmeric powder and tamarind water, and give it a good stir.
