To prepare the spicy chana aur aloo ki sookhi sabzi, soak the kabuli chana (chickpeas) overnight and pressure cook them with enough water for 3 whistles. set aside.
Boil the potatoes with 1 cup of water in a pressure cooker for 2 whistles. peel the skin, cut them into cubes, and keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Add finely chopped onions and saute until they turn transparent.
